A new leisure centre in central Litchfield
Working closely with Lichfield DC and ReCreation to provide a state of the art Leisure Centre
GWB Consultants are engaged on the creation of a new leisure centre in central Lichfield to bolster the district leisure offering. The centre includes a six-lane 25m pool with a depth varying from 1200mm to 1800mm, a gymnasium, dance studio, spinning studio, community room and cafeteria area and separate changing rooms to service a new 3G MUGA pitch to be installed on the existing Stychbrook Park fields.
Sustainability is key…
The centre is projected to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and is all-electric; adding to the sustainable and eco-friendly characteristics of the scheme. The project sits in an existing playing fields site that is to be enhanced by significant additional landscaping to increase the biodiversity credentials of the site.
